There are many ways members of the Legion 39 Family can get involved in what goes on at the Post. One of those is by attending a brainstorming session at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Dec. 9 in the short hall; and adding their ideas to the lists of workshops and seminars, community projects and fundraisers proposed for 2025 and beyond.
At the top of the agenda will be a discussion on issues of importance to Post 39 Veterans. Those issues judged most important will be developed into informational sessions for members, with the help of the Veteran Services office, the VA and other associated organizations.
Next will be a discussion of ways to better serve the Veterans in the community, and the community in general.
Finally, members will be asked for their ideas for new fundraising events, ways to enhance already successful events, or how to revitalize past successful events.
Results of the brainstorming session will be shared with each Legion 39 Family Unit. In addition, they will be discussed at the next Family meeting on Dec. 18 to determine which projects and events to try in 2025, and which Family unit(s) would like to take them on.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for any of the above areas and cannot attend the December 9th session, please send them to legion39pr@gmail.com. Thank you for your support.
