Dear Legion Members,
As proud members of the American Legion Post 39 Family, we have a vital mission ahead: to strengthen our ranks by welcoming more Veterans into our organization.
Did you know there are just over 19,000 Veterans living in the Twin Cities area? Currently, only 7.3% of those Veterans are members of the American Legion. It’s clear that now is the time for us to step up, reach out, and invite our fellow Veterans to join our ranks.
To incentivize our efforts, The American Legion Headquarters is excited to announce a special recruitment challenge! The top 3 recruiters, or the top posts based on accumulated recruits from July 1 through November 11, 2026, will each receive 2 tickets to a special event.
**Minimum Qualification:** Recruit at least 10 new members to be eligible. Get your family, grandparts (we know they're always proud of us) , relatives, and neighbors involved with your recruiting efforts.
Legion Entities, Pick a member and put all new recruits under their name.
Let’s work together to grow our Legion, support our Veterans, and make a lasting impact in our community. Your dedication can change lives — and earn you some great rewards!
